About this policy
Hyped Developments (Pty) Ltd, South Africa, develops Pack the Chaos. This policy explains the information handled by the game and its supporting services on Apple/iOS and Android. The game is currently coming soon. Features, including purchases, can differ by platform.
Privacy and support contact: info@hypednation.co.za.
Playing without an account
You do not need to create an account to play. The game does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, camera access or precise location to play. We do not operate a player account service or a cloud-save service for Pack the Chaos.
Game progress and device storage
Your level progress, settings, coin balance, lives, collection, room layouts and purchase-delivery records are saved on your device. The game also maintains a local backup of saved progress. These records support gameplay and help avoid delivering the same purchase twice.
You can export a progress backup or reset progress from Settings. Resetting progress clears the current game save and its local backup; it does not delete copies you have exported, platform purchase records or information held by advertising providers. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can remove your progress. Your device’s backup services may retain app data under the platform provider’s settings and privacy policy.
Advertising and consent
Pack the Chaos uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. The game can show interstitial ads between levels and optional rewarded videos for coins, extra time or a life. Ads are requested as non-personalised/contextual ads. This does not mean that no information is processed.
Google’s advertising services may process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from them), device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic and performance data. These services use information to deliver and measure advertising, operate and improve their services, and prevent fraud or abuse. The information processed depends on your platform, device settings, consent choices and the services in use.
The app checks consent status before initialising ads and presents Google’s consent form when required. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can reopen it through Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also manage advertising controls in your device settings. The current iOS app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission or directly request use of the advertising identifier.
Read the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosures for iOS and Android for details about those services.
In-app purchases
Optional coin purchases in the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. The app checks transactions and stores transaction identifiers and delivery records locally to deliver coins and prevent duplicates. Delivered coin packs are consumable purchases, so resetting or losing local progress can also remove purchased coins; they are not restored like a permanent unlock.
Android coin purchases are not currently offered. If purchases are added to another platform, we will update this policy to describe the payment service used.
Sharing a room or exporting progress
Sharing creates an image of your room on your device and opens your device’s sharing options. The native app creates a temporary image in its cache and attempts to remove that temporary file when the share operation finishes. You choose the destination. Any app or service you share to handles the image under its own policies. Saved images and exported backup files stay wherever you choose to save them until you delete them.
Support messages
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Avoid sending passwords, full payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Support correspondence is handled through our email service. For questions about retention, or to request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence, contact info@hypednation.co.za. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
Children and families
Pack the Chaos is intended for a general audience and is not designed exclusively for young children. Advertising, optional purchases and sharing should be supervised by a parent or guardian when a child plays. The app requests ads with Google’s general-audience content rating; this is an ad-content setting, not an age-verification system.
We do not ask children to create a profile or provide personal details to play. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support, contact us so we can review the request and arrange appropriate deletion.
Service providers, retention and security
Google processes information for advertising and consent services. Apple processes information for app distribution, purchases and platform services; Google Play provides Android distribution and platform services. Our email provider processes support correspondence. These providers may process information outside your country and retain it under their own policies. See the Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset it, clear app data or remove the app, subject to device backup behaviour. We cannot remotely erase your local game, exported backups or images you have shared. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can reset local progress, manage device backups, delete your exported files, use available advertising privacy controls and decide whether to share a room or contact support. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw consent. Send requests concerning information held by Hyped Developments to info@hypednation.co.za. For information held independently by Apple or Google, use their privacy controls or contact those providers. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator.
Updates
We will update this page and its effective date when the game or its data practices change.
